The Associate Chief Nursing Officer is responsible to the Vice President, Patient Care Services & Chief Nursing Officer for facilitating, coordinating and delegating the delivery of patient care in the emergency departments. This ACNO will assist the CNO with strategic planning, quality management, performance improvement, increasing patient satisfaction, core measures, fiscal management, and staff development programs and will also be a strategic contributor to long term planning and business growth. The ACNO provides leadership and overall responsibility for the functioning of the department. This key leadership position is responsible 24 hours a day, with full accountability, for the staffing, operations and management of patient care in each the departments. The ACNO works collaboratively with physicians and all members of the patient care team and colleagues throughout the organization. This is accomplished by assessing and prioritizing opportunities to improve, plan and implement effective changes and evaluate outcomes of process improvement activities.
This is 40 hour, exempt position, covering both Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals.

Graduate of an accredited college or nursing school, MSN and/or BSN required. Masters preferred. Five years of related clinical experience and three years of progressive leadership experience required.
