About the Job
Position Summary: To assist, coordinate, and maintain all administrative functions necessary to ensure efficiency of all administrative duties of the Department. To assist in the maintenance of the functionality of any of the computer systems, work flow, policies and procedures, training coordination, and any duties as deemed necessary to the most effective functionality of the Department. Under general supervision of the Administrative Director of Hematology/Oncology, an in collaboration with physicians and other care providers, provides secretarial and administrative support to one or more individuals in a clinical environment. Utilizes specific knowledge of medical terminology.

Education: High School Diploma minimum
Licensure, Certification, Registration: N/A
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Excellent written, verbal,and computer application skills.
Experience: Proven written and computer skills. Proven ability in Excel, Word, and Excellent data entry skills necessary. PowerPoint, Access and other database Experience preferred. Proven responsibility for maintenance of a department with or without responsibility of staff.
