About the Job

The IS Specialist/Trainer role provides multiple levels of support related to Home Cares applications:  This position is responsible for development and maintenance of educational materials as well as end user training. The specialist acts as a liaison between the users and the vendors and the organization's IT department. This role provides day to day assistance to ensure all staff is able to utilize the technology available.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of adult learning and curriculum development in course design and evaluation strategies.
  • Deliver training, assessment and remediation for assigned applications and programs.
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Designer and Informatics Specialists in the design and development of training materials (videos, e-learnings, tip sheets, webinars) material to meet the needs of all end users
  • Revise content and program delivery methods based on outcomes, learner needs, organizational goals and healthcare trends.
  • Support colleagues and end users during project go lives (at the elbow, ATE, support) and special updates. 
  • Deliver work within established timelines.
  • Manage and multitask on several assigned projects. 
  • Serve as expert with assigned projects and transfers knowledge to other team members. 
  • Serve as a liaison between users and vendors or IS department and/or Lahey Health at Home leadership. 
  • Deliver training and end user support of Google, Gsuite and Gmail.
  • Serve as System Admin for multiple Home Health Web applications.
  • Credential in Epic Home Health and Hospice in timeframe established by training manager

                     

  Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Education or other highly relevant field. 8 years or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Minimum 3 years Information Systems.
