About the Job
Responsible for the sourcing, recruiting and hiring of qualified individuals to fill open positions in the organization. Works closely with the Human Resources Business Partners to assure that recruiting efforts support the overall needs and goals of individual departments and Lahey.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Assists with developing and implementing strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
Functional management of recruiting cycle and processes and may include resource management.
Develops strong relationships and partners with hiring managers.
Works closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
Regularly follows up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process, providing counsel and guidance when needed.
Assists with both external and internal hiring efforts.
Manages the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, reference checks and offers.
Knowledge of the organization benefits, salary, and the culture’s environment; to share with candidates.
Uses social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
Collaborates & develops college recruiting programs and plays an active role in the internship program.
Participates in employment events, such as career fairs and recruiting forums.
Utilizes applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track applicants from the selection phase through on-boarding.
Consults regularly with the appropriate Business Partner to assure proper HR support to specific client areas. Refers employee relation issues to the appropriate Business Partner for follow-up.
Consults with the appropriate Business Partner regarding proper salary offers and potential equity pay or market pay issues.
Actively participates in all required meetings; actively shares ideas and concepts.
Other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or a minimum of 8 year’s recruiting experience.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Outstanding inter-personal skills, verbal and written communication skills and team based project experience.
Self-motivation with a strong desired to excel as well as possess the ability to lead others are expected.
Must have strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and maintain focus and discipline
Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Three plus years of recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization. Experience with multiple HR functional areas is strongly preferred.
