About the Job
A Hospice House LPN performs nursing services requiring the application of nursing skills in the care of the residential Hospice House patients.
Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLNAC) with current licensure to practice as an LPN in the state of Massachusetts . One to two years of Medical/Surgical Nursing experience preferred; New Grads considered. Maintains an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
Demonstrates excellent observation and problem solving/critical thinking skills. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; essential computer skills to work with EMR. Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision . Shows strong ability to organize and prioritize workload independently; nursing skills per competency checklist.
Part time - 32 hours per week, Monday and Friday, 7:00a-3:00p, Tuesday 3:00p-11:00p and every other weekend, Sat and Sun, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m
