The Lead Central Sterile Technician is an individual with depth knowledge of AORN and AAMI Recommended Practices and Standards. Based upon such expertise the Lead SCS tech is responsible for overseeing the documentation, reprocessing and sterilization of the reusable instrumentation. The Lead SCS tech is responsible to collaborate with the Clinical Manager to define, implement, and monitor policy and procedure and unit goals and objectives. The lead SCS tech promotes and maintains a cohesive work environment meeting the needs of all departments that utilize their service. The Lead SCS tech ensures that staffing needs are met on a daily basis by re-allocating staff and work loads to accommodate provision of the service. Performs all other duties as assigned.
40 hours per week, evening shift.
