About the Job
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Facility Manager and following established procedures, performs a variety of repair and installation projects for Lahey's community based practices as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Vocational/trade school building courses in carpentry or woodworking.
Licensure, Certification, Registration: N/A
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Good working knowledge of building repairs, i.e. carpentry, floor and hardware repair. Safe and efficient use of power tools including saws, sanders, drills, and the like. Safe and proper use of hand tools. Accurate use of measuring devices including levels, tape measures, etc
Experience: Minimum 2 years of prior building maintenance and renovation experience, preferably in a healthcare institution. Must have experience in carpentry, door hardware and floor repair.
