Position Summary:

Assumes responsibility to lead team in providing quality patient care. Assess, plans, implements and evaluates patient care form admission to discharge. Is responsible to direct, assign, and supervise ancillary staff team members in providing the appropriate level of care in the most efficient manner. Acts as a role model to staff members. Is able to effectively manage team work concept. Remains flexible in response to changes. Assists the physician with invasive and endoscopic procedures and monitors the physiological status of the patient throughout the pre, intra and post-procedure periods. 

Scheduled Hours

Per diem, hours assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 2 years Medical/Surgical experience required. Strong nursing assessment and communication skills required. Previous experience in Endoscopy and procedural sedation experience preferred. Previous ambulatory care experience preferred. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, have excellent customer service skills and a positive, proactive attitude. Current Massachusetts RN licensure, BCLS & ACLS required.
