Position Summary:

To assist Director in the day to day operations of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department. Assists with administrative tasks relating to fiscal responsibilities and quality assurance. Maintains and ensures hospital safety guidelines are followed. Demonstrates initiative and timely follow through on all work assignments. Assumes full responsibility for quality of own work . Performs inpatient and outpatient non-invasive testing, including EKGs, Holters, Event Monitors, Exercise Stress Tests, Echocardiogram Stress Tests and nuclear imaging stress tests. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Scheduled Hours

40 hours per week, day shift.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:           Experience with medical terminology preferred

 Cardiac monitoring experience and EKG rhythm education required High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification/License:             BLS certified bi-annually
