About the Job
Under the direction of an RN, the Endoscopy Technician performs multiple duties that include setting up procedure rooms with equipment and supplies, and assisting the physician and the RN during the procedure with patient care and technical duties such as the collection of specimens. Also attends to the cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of the equipment following the procedure.
HS diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience with both instrument processing and patient care preferred.
Care is provided based on physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients. Requires ability to attend to details and maintain policies for safety and infection control while working in a fast paced environment.
40 hours Days 10 hour shifts
