About the Job
The Licensed Caregiver performs nursing services requiring the application of nursing skills in the care of the residential Hospice House patients
Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLNAC) with current licensure to practice as an LPN in the state of Massachusetts. One to two years of Medical/Surgical Nursing experience preferred. Maintains an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
Demonstrates excellent observation and problem solving/critical thinking skills. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; essential computer skills to work with EMR. Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision Shows strong ability to organize and prioritize workload independently; nursing skills per competency checklist.
