About the Job
Contributes to the Hospital’s mission by serving the dual role of directing the daily operations of the patient transporter services and regularly functioning as a transporter which supports our clinical teams in transporting our patients to various departments during their stay and upon discharge. This lead support position will have an impact on safety, patient throughput and patient satisfaction by orchestrating efficient transporting services and carefully transporting patients with empathy, respect and reassurance.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required: At least 2 years of hands on patient care and or patient transporting experience.
LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support
Tuesday 7am-430pm, Thursday 7am-430pm and every other Saturday 8am-530pm & Sunday 8am-530pm
