About the Job

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Plant Operations and following established guidelines, operates, installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilating equipment and controls.  LI-RN1

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational/Trade School courses and/or equivalent education and experience.

Licensure, Certification, Registration: Current valid Massachusetts State Refrigeration, plumbing or electrical License.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Thorough working knowledge of refrigeration cycle and operating controls. Thorough working knowledge of HVAC electro-mechanical equipment and controls (pneumatic and electric). In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.

Experience: 3-5 years related HVAC experience in a healthcare facility.
