Responsible for providing a blend of analytical and technical understanding and expertise necessary to produce and analyze data that measures the overall performance of the Pharmacy. In conjunction with the IS applications analysts implement, develop and maintain the functionality of all information systems/ technology used in the Pharmacy service. Provide training and written procedures/policies when needed to Pharmacy users. Provide high level data access and reporting from all databases that affect the performance of the Pharmacy service. Practices in accordance with Winchester Hospital 's policies and procedures and the scope of practice for Certified Pharmacy Technicians in the State of Massachusetts .
Bachelor's Degree and advanced training in Information Systems or Pharmacy. At least three years of experience in health informatics. Demonstrates working knowledge of the Pharmacy Services and all departments associated with it. Demonstrates a working knowledge of interface file format. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components. Requires excellent teaching and educational organizational skills.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Certified Pharmacy Technician
