The Skin Care Program Manager oversees the skin care program for Beverly Hospital, providing clinical consultation for patients with open wounds, pre- and post-op ostomy care/management, or patients at risk for skin breakdown. The Skin Care Program Manager establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and training programs to ensure clinical expertise. The Skin Care Program Manager leads the Skin Care Team to develop and implement strategies to prevent and treat hospital-acquired pressure ulcers. In collaboration physicians, the Skin Care Program Manager provides consultation for complex wound, ostomy and incontinence patients. The program manager supervises the skin care coordinators and is responsible for hiring and evaluating the skin care staff.
This job will oversee the skin care program and also function as a working skin/wound care nurse.
CWOCN certification required
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Massachusetts.
Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of licensed professional nursing experience required.
Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
40 hours per week, hours will be flexible
