Directs patient food service and catering operations. Adjusts food service work schedules as needed. Assumes a leadership role in the delivery of food services. Responsible for assembly and service of all food for patients, cafeteria and catering services. Adheres to preparation standards, recipes, procedures and plans. Completes food inventory and food ordering as directed. Adheres to all food safety, physical safety and regulatory requirements a d standards. Completes all food safety, customer service and other job-related training to meet standards. Adheres to federal, state, and local food codes at all times. Cleans and sanitizes service items, food preparation equipment, work areas, and floors. Receives and stores food and supplies. Delivers food and supplies to hospital departments and patient care areas. Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures. Assist patients with placement of meal trays and assists patient with meal-related requests.
Seeking candidate with food service, customer service, and training background. Assist management with staffing and inventory paperwork. Knowledge of diets preferred. Flexible schedule, every other weekend.
High school diploma or in process. Read, write and speak English. Certification in food safety (ServSafe or equivalent to meet state food code) highly desirable.
40 hours per week, 8 hour day shifts. Every other weekend required.
