About the Job

The BILHPN Manager, Mass Health ACO Program, manages several moderate complexity projects simultaneously by utilizing the tools, techniques and methodology of professional project management fundamentals to meet the current and anticipated needs of the organization. Responsible for execution on state and health plan deliverables tied to the BILHPN MassHealth ACO. Responsible for preparing ACO presentations and reports for relevant committees and boards. With the assistance of the ACO Program Manager, responsible for administration of the Community Partner and Flexible Services programs, including related referrals, patient assignment and tracking, and reporting. Achieves performance improvement in Population Health and value-based contracts by preparing and executing action plans and collaborating with multiple stakeholders within BILHPN, risk units, hospitals, providers, and leadership teams. Holds project participants accountable for deliverables, manages all project milestones to specified timeframes. This position champions ways of continuously driving performance improvement and transformational change within the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  1. Develops and documents project plans, deadlines, and milestones in conjunction with other members of the operations team, BILHPN colleagues, risk unit leaders, and other members as needed.
  2. Prepares material for risk unit, committee, and board presentations, in conjunction with other team members.
  3. Attends meetings and tracks and acts on takeaways and next steps.
  4. Continually monitors and reports on progress of the projects to all stakeholders presenting reports with project progress, problems, and solutions.
  5. Schedules, prepares for, and attends project tracking and monitoring meetings as required; documents next steps and follows up with key project team members to ensure follow through.

  7. Drafts all deliverables due to state and health plan partner, including by collecting various components from internal stakeholders (data, analytics, clinical inputs, etc.).
  8. Performs literature and/or online research for published Best Practice examples from other organizations; as requested.
  9. Supports key meetings by collaborating with key presenters, preparing agendas, staffing the meeting, tracking attendance, and taking minutes; as requested.
  10. Ensures, in coordination with Project Manager, that Flexible Services and Community Partner programs are properly administered, including processing of patient assignments, referrals, and reporting of related metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field required. Masters degree preferred.

Experience: 3-7 years in healthcare management, operations, or related field.

  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong proven leadership, project management, and execution skills.
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal.
