Come join our Lowell crisis team! Work in a fast paced environment with opportunities for ongoing professional development and receive training in Crisis Prevention Institution (CPI). Our team provides services to our most vulnerable populations and is dedicated to removing all barriers to treatment. The crisis and triage clinician hybrid role allows you to experience something new every day. As a Crisis Clinician, you will develop your diagnostic skills, conduct assessments, make referrals and collaborate with community stakeholders. Evaluations are completed in our clinics, local hospitals and the community. As a Triage Clinicians, you will provide mental health screenings and triage by phone in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Clinicians on this team possess clinical skills in assessment, triage, crisis intervention and case management. Clinicians will gain exposure and support a full range of mental health disorders, including safety concerns and indications for hospitalization. In addition, the Triage Clinician must be able to work collaboratively as part of a larger team, prioritize the level of need for service and communicate effectively with team members and community partners.
The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, able to be flexible and is motivated to support those who are in psychiatric crises.
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours. M-F 4p-12a
