About the Job

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Clinical Administrator, this position will be responsible for all day-to-day

administrative operations in the Lifestyle Management Center. Focusing on the implementation of strategic business initiatives. Budgets and revenue cycle.the position will be responsible for establishing and managing business related priorities, reviewing

operational issues to identify opportunities for improvement and initiating new systems/programs to

address these opportunities. Assume additional similar duties as assigned that may involve  Medical Specialties

working under direction of the Clinical Administrator.

Additional specific responsibilities will include the following:

  • Oversee billing, charges, and purchasing working with the Clinical Administrator for LMI, Medical Specialties.
  • Working closely with all providers and Access Services staff and Access Services Site Manager in the LMI/MS Center to schedule and optimize clinic time; and allocate operational resources including rooms, staff, etc.
  • Coordinates monthly interdisciplinary team meetings for all LMI/MS providers and support staff.
  • Service excellence/customer service.
  • Patient flow/efficient processing.
  • Revenue cycle management including charge capture/entry working with Clinical Administrator.
  • Readily participates in daily clinic activities
  • Serves as the marketing/communications contact with Clinical Administrator.
  • Accountable for creating a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity.
  • Maintains knowledge of and assures departmental compliance with policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Responds appropriately to observed fraud or abuse.
  • Oversee providers request for vacations/time off for  LMI/MS.
  • Oversee department on boarding/ scheduling trainings for Clinical and Non Clinical Staff. Medical Assistants, Admin Assistants, CA/AA’s.
  • Kronos management and sign off.
  • Fiscal responsibilities,budgets and revenue cycle.

Scheduled Hours

40 hour, exempt position.  This position is located at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in business or health care administration with a minimum of 3-5 years of recent

experience coordinating operations for outpatient clinics. Experience in coordinating operations for Ambulatory clinics preferred.
