About the Job


This position has overall accountability for the development and implementation of the in- and out-patient Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Program strategic plan including; program development, business growth,  financial management, and performance improvement as well as the development of excellent working relationships with the physicians and the community.  The director will be responsible for promoting and marketing the program to physicians and the community, coordinating and problem solving to ensure a seamless integration of services, growing and expanding the service line to the physicians and the community building the relationship with our tertiary care partner. Additionally, the director, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation Managers, will provide administrative direction for the overall operation of rehabilitation programs, implementing systems and developing programs which provide enhanced integrated care.

  • Self-motivated and customer service oriented, experienced healthcare professional with business development and marketing experience. Considerable experience can offset clinical skill needed.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy Program.
  • Five years progressive health care management/leadership experience, the majority of which should be in the operation of a rehabilitation program or a related complex specialty with responsibility for service line improvement.
  • Must have a solid understanding of rehabilitation operations and management.
  • Knowledge of billing, specifically rehabilitation billing/coding preferred.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project development and management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
