About the Job

Position Summary:              

Under the supervision of the Manager, with work direction through the Lead Electrician, repairs, maintains, tests and installs all electrical systems throughout the hospital and other ancillary buildings.         

Scheduled Hours

40 hours per week, days

    Education:  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).  Vocational/Trade

    School courses, 4-year electrical apprenticeship.


    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:  Able to read and understand blueprints and electrical

    schematics.  Proficiency in all skills required for State Licensure I.


    Experience:  5-7 years working as a licensed electrician, preferably in a healthcare institution.




     Licensure/Certification/RegistrationCurrent Massachusetts State Electrical License, and 

     current Massachusetts Driver’s license required.
