About the Job

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the HR Representative provides support to the Beverly/Addison Gilbert HR team, as well as managers and colleagues for administration, inquiries, staffing, onboarding, compliance, and other HR projects and initiatives throughout the employment lifecycle. The HR Rep will partner cross-functionally for effective delivery of HR services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  1. As part of the HR team, the HR Representative is a point of contact for employee and manager inquiries.
  2. Actively participates as a member of the Human Resources team, participating in projects, activities and various work assignments. Participates in programs that enhance development, communication, processes and other workflows.
  3. May prepare, maintain and distribute information and reports, as requested.
  4. Responds to general inquiries from employees and managers, providing guidance and information on process, administration and other. 
  5. May manage onboarding activities for candidates to ensure a positive onboarding experience. Communicates with internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding cycle. 
  6. Ensures compliance with HR processing and transactions for data integrity.
  7. Provides general support to staff for transaction management and other employment lifecycle activities, as assigned.
  8. Participates in compliance-related audits and ensures that HR files are complete. Monitors USCIS requirements and communicates to HR staff for compliance.
  9. Maintains vendor relationship for licensure compliance; updates licensure requests and manages exception reports.
  10. Manages responses to unemployment claims and maintains vendor relationship; manages activities related to annual MVR checks and compliance; ensures compliance with all labor law postings; monitors visa status and partners with HRIS for reporting.
  11. Prepares periodic reports and summaries to keep HR and business leaders appraised of activity.
  12. Provides analytical insight and applies critical thinking in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of HR business processes.  
  13. Other projects may include the employee exit process, program administration and immigration case management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience working in Human Resources in a generalist capacity.
