Contributes to the Hospital's mission by utilizing nursing clinical knowledge to facilitate and grow the hospital's metabolic andbariatricsurgery (MBS) program. Works collaboratively with the physicians'practicesand the multidisciplinary team to address the needs ofbariatricpatients and to improve the overall success and quality of the program. This licensed professional staff position will work collaboratively with others to have an impact on patient satisfaction, improve outcomes and makeWinchesterHospital'sbariatricprogram a recognized and qualified provider of qualitybariatricservices.
Clinical Reviewer, Facilitator of the hospital's accreditation as a center of excellence,Bariatriceducator for staff, Registered nurse providing preand post op support to the patients, family members and physicianpractices, and liaison with the community to grow the Hospital'sbariatricprogram.
Hired prior to 10/1/13: Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited RN program.
Hired on or after 10/1/13: Bachelors' degree in Nursing (BSN) or obtainBSNwithin 5 yearsof hire
Preferred: BSNupon hire
Required:At least three years of clinical as registered nurse in acute care med/surg.
Preferred:Concentrated experience withBariatricpatients and/orbariatricsurgery
Required:Basic computer skills and word processing
Preferred:For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
