Job Details:

JOB SUMMARY:Contributes to the Hospital's mission by maintaining the credentialing system and its data.This administrative position will have an impact on hospital safety and compliance by assisting the medical staff office in ensuring the system data is accurate and physician licensures and mal-practice coverage remain current.Performing these duties in an empathetic, supportive and professional manner will impact physician engagement and satisfaction.



Required:High School Diploma or equivalent




·At least three years administrative support experience with at least 6 months experience utilizing credentialing software.


·Two years of experience in a Medical Staff Office utilizing credentialing software


·Experience running reports from credentialing software.

·Experience implementing application upgrades.

Other Skills/Knowledge


·For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team.

·Proficient in word processing, Excel, Internet and database skills.

·Ability to communicate effectively and provide customer service satisfaction

·Ability to follow detailed sequential steps in operations process.
