As Lahey continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The MICU, a 12-bed unit is comprised of a team of highly trained nurses that care primarily for medical patients while incorporating best practices into the treatment they provide. Our nurses care for patient?s requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support and cutting edge treatment modalities; like CVVH. Working collaboratively with the Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine physicians and advanced practitioners, our nurses maintain extensive critical care skills and provide a supportive environment for each other, the patients and the patient?s families.
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center utilizes EPIC for computerized charting and medication administration. Computerized self-scheduling is available along with every third weekend rotation.

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a Tufts teaching hospital with a staff of over 4,000 and 317 beds. Conveniently located in Burlington, MA - just outside of Boston. Colleagues benefit from free parking, the close proximity of the Burlington Mall and many great eating establishments only a short walk away. This is the perfect location if you want the fast pace and expertise of Boston without the traffic and parking challenges.
Qualifications

- Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred
- At least 1 year of previous of Nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required
- Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred
- Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
- Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
Shift

36 Hours Nights shifts with every 3rd weekend
