Provides oversight and direction of Plant Operations and Maintenance for Lahey Health & Medical Center. Ensures consistent delivery of critical utilities to all sites. Leads his/her team to develop and implement major equipment life cycle analysis, development of appropriate preventive maintenance program. Responsible for compliance with DPH, DEP. TJC, NFPA along with all other Federal, State and local governing codes as it relates to plant operations and engineering. Interacts with Facilities as it relates to information relevant for proper project development and delivery.
The position is responsible for organizing, coordinating, directing and evaluating all aspects of the organization's facilities management and plant operations including engineering engagements, budgeting, labor, supplies, and other related tasks.
Oversee all of facility and plant operations at Lahey Hospital and it?s medical offices. Responsible for Maintenance at LHMC. Collaborates with plant ops at all affiliated hospitals.
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field.
Licensure, Certification & Registration:
Chief Engineer license preferred, and CHFM certified through ASHE preferred
Experience: 10 years experience in facilities engineering and operations, including 5 in a healthcare institution and 5 in facilities management.

? Sound knowledge of building automation
? Proven knowledge of all regulatory codes
