Physical therapists are part of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center’s comprehensive Rehabilitation Services Department. They work closely with other providers in helping patients recover from musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary conditions and injuries. PTs may work in inpatient or outpatient settings.

Job Description

Aides in the rehabilitation of patients by performing treatment programs and procedures delegated by the physical therapist. Provides physical therapy services to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients, and to assist them in reaching a maximum level of functioning in order to return to a rewarding & productive life.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/LICENSURE:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant licensure. Current CPR/BLS; APTA membership strongly encouraged. Scheduled Hours Per diem, hours assigned as needed. 2 weekend shifts per month, 3 holidays per year.
